I have ubuntu 10.10 installed in my computer and I forgot the admin password after a couple changes, however I had previously opened a user account for my sister, so she doesn’t mess around with my stuff. Is there any way to recover or change the admin password from the user account?

I have win 7 and i have crossfire on it. I want to play it, but any time i go to play it a box pops up saying i have to type in admin password. My dad thinks its a pain to go back and forth so i was wondering how to let it run without having to type in the Password.

How do I share admin rights with someone on tumblr?

I want to set my computer to only allow admin choices (i.e. install, remove or change a program) when a smart card is inserted and the pin typed in. Any ideas on how to set this up for just the Admin?
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit.

Right click a program. Go to properties. Security settings and then advanced. Then select “admins only”

Ask the admin. I don’t think there’s a way to ‘bypass’ windows 7 admin passwords but I think it was possible on vista but fixed it when they released windows 7. I’m unsure but if there is a way I’d say it would be the first result if you look it up on google.
