I was the creator/administrator of a facebook group but I accidentally removed myself from admin because I didn’t know why I couldn’t messege the members. I checked the help center and they said that there will be a waiting time in order to become the new admin of a facebook group. How long is that, it has been a few months now.

I made a facebook group about my friend except she was a bit embarrassed about having a group about her so she asked me to delete it. I thought I deleted it but it turned out that I didn’t delete the group but deleted my status as Admin. Now there are no admins in the group and I have no idea of how to delete it! There should be a link where you can apply to become Admin.

You have to be part of the Group to do it.

I would like to become an admin of a facebook group that I didn’t start. Some kid made a group ridiculing two girls at my school that had committed suicide. I want to become an admin so i can delete the page. It has been reported many times but, it is clear that facebook isn’t going to do anything about it.

I created a group of facebook for my theatre dept. and then my facebook got hacked, and I deleted it and made a new one, so I was wondering how I can get back my admin position with my new account

Okay, you got a tough position here, and unforetunatly for you, I dont think you can get it back. But What you can do is create a new group/fan page. Just this time, do things better than the first time so its worth it. Also, if you can help it, make a fan page insted of a group, fan pages are much more popular.
